Irish Greyhound Board
|
The Irish Greyhound Board – Bord na gCon – is a commercial semi-state
body which is responsible for the control and development of the
greyhound industry in the Republic of Ireland. The Board has a licensed
total of seventeen tracks in the Republic, of which nine are owned and
controlled by the Board. The remainder are owned and controlled by
private enterprise.
The Irish Greyhound Board successfully rolled out our biometric Time and
Attendance solution with several hundred full and part time employees
across 19 sites around the country. The Time and Attendance system is
managed centrally from the Irish Greyhound Board’s Limerick
headquarters. |

Brinks Allied |

Brink’s has had a presence in Ireland for over 35 years and is the only
security company that controls operations both North and South. This
affords many of our customers an integrated approach to customer service
which is unrivalled.
In 2008, Brinks required a centralised biometric Time and Attendance and
Human Resources solution for its entire organisation with sites in
Belfast, Dublin, Limerick and Cork. Brinks have several hundred staff
and so required 10 biometric clocking terminals and a centralised Time
and Attendance system managed from its Dublin office.
Tripwire was successful in its bid against several other competitors.
According to the Operations Manager at Brinks, a combination of user
friendliness, an up-to-date system, price, and proven levels of customer
support obtained from references sites saw the contract awarded to
Tripwire. |

Irish Commercials (Volvo Ireland) |

Irish Commercials imports and sells Volvo Trucks and provides aftermarket
service and parts support for both Volvo Trucks & Buses. The company
prides itself on the strength of its products, the dedication and
experience of its staff and the long-term peace of mind it offers its
customers in the form of after-sales support that is second to none.
In 2008, Ciaran Bolger, their Financial Controller was looking to
replace their dated clock card system with an innovative Time and
Attendance system. Ciaran's objectives were to have a Time and
Attendance system that would simplify the payroll system and something
which would save money and time if possible (e.g. producing payroll -
less manual calculations). The old Time and Attendance system was time
consuming and they wanted a new Time and Attendance system that removed
the need to buy hundreds of clock cards.
Tripwire installed its smart card Time and Attendance solution
at Irish Commercials brand new state of the art facility in Naas, Co
Kildare. Our Time and Attendance solution covers the 100 employees plus
at Irish Commercials.

Tornier Orthopedics Ireland Ltd |

For almost 70 years, Tornier has been among the pioneers in the European
orthopedic industry. The company currently offers a broad range of joint
replacement products including hips, knees, shoulders, ankles, and other
extremity prostheses. Following the company’s move from Dunmanway to
Macroom in Co Cork, Tornier were looking for a combined Time and
Attendance and Access Control system for its factory and offices. After
vetting various vendors, Tornier decided to implement a Time and
Attendance solution from Tripwire. The final Time and Attendance
solution saw Tripwire install clocking terminals, access control across the
entire facility (covering over 30 doors), turnstiles, CCTV and car park
barriers.

Northside Community Enterprises is a limited company that combines a

Through its policies, programmes and work placement, NCE strives to
ensure social inclusion and progression for all employees.
NCE values its strong links with FAS and various other Government
Departments that help to fund the community services and training that
it provides.
NCE first thought of installing a Time and Attendance system in 2008
when the decision was made to move to a new location in Farranferris
College. NCE had its IT team interview various vendors over a 2 month
period. Tripwire were awarded the contract. This involved the
installation of a Time and Attendance solution and clocking terminals
across 3 sites where 400 employees clock for work on a daily basis.
